Fresh and luminous
Blanche by Byredo is the idea of clean elevated to a perfume: luminous aldehydes, peony and musk, like fresh linen in the sun. Verte Euphorie by L'Atelier Parfum brings grapefruit and red orange over a clean musk; a citrus freshness that takes its time. Both are wearable from morning to evening.
Florals, in every shade
The heart of the collection is floral. On a Date by Maison Margiela catches a luminous rose with tart blackcurrant; a friendly fruity floral. The Revenge of Lady Blanche by Penhaligon's is narcissus and a green iris, elegant and faintly melancholic. Narcisse Taiji by Atelier Materi takes the same narcissus onto a green, hayed side.
Blanc Sada by L'Entropiste is a creamy, lactonic iris with a powdered-rice texture that makes it enveloping. Lipstick Rose by Frédéric Malle is exactly the memory of a vintage lipstick: iris, raspberry and a powdery vanilla, retro and warm. For those after comfort, Ambre Latte by Essential Parfums is a latte dressed in caramel and almond; a gentle gourmand hug. Exquise Tentation by L'Atelier Parfum adds praline and vanilla, like a dessert that never turns heavy. Cacao Porcelana by Atelier Materi is real cacao with rum and tonka, sweet but dry. The Bewitching Yasmine by Penhaligon's ties jasmine to coffee and vanilla, for an evening warmth.
Woody and intense
Santal Austral by Matiere Premiere is creamy sandalwood over iris and tonka; woody without being heavy. Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford is summer bottled: coconut, tuberose and a sweet, solar warmth.

Black Afgano is a dark, smoky woody built on agarwood, incense and a dense, earthy resin; an evening scent for those who want presence. Narcotic Venus goes the other way: an opulent bouquet of white flowers, lily, jasmine and tuberose, creamy and full.
