Nasomatto, the house that lets scent speak
Before founding his own house, Alessandro Gualtieri composed fragrances for fashion houses such as Versace, Helmut Lang and Diesel. Rejected more and more for his radical ideas, he decided to create on his own, under the name Nasomatto, in 2007.
Nasomatto works on instinct, not on explanations. Its perfumes are dense extrait concentrations, sometimes deliberately strange, made to be worn like a state of mind. The opaque, hand-finished bottles hide the colour of the liquid and let the scent speak.
Black Afgano is the perfume that turned the house into a cult object: dark, resinous and magnetic, it leaves a trail that lingers long after you have left. Alongside it, China White, Pardon, Nuda and Silver Musk complete a small but memorable collection.
